Macchiato Recipe : Origin of the Name

In 2016, our founder, Jade Lam, traveled to Milan, Italy for the first time.

Near her Airbnb, there was a traditional local coffee shop where she started her mornings with a cup of macchiato.

That first macchiato became the best coffee she had ever tasted,

and she continued to enjoy it every day.

Inspired by the incredible experience she had with that first sip,

Jade wanted to bring the same feeling to her customers at Macchiato Recipe.

She envisioned a place where people could find carefully selected items and wear them to enhance their everyday beauty.
